Beverage Service
Throughout your journey, you can enjoy a range of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, adding a distinctive touch to your time in the air.

For flights between Hanoi and Mumbai, the weight concept applies to checked baggage. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg of checked baggage, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Hanoi to Mumbai once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Hanoi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have several hours in Singapore, you can join one of the official transit tours into the city, which typically require a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours. These curated tours allow you to see key sights before returning in time for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside at Singapore Changi Airport is very comfortable. You can explore themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and a wide choice of dining and shopping, or simply relax at your gate area between flights.

If you prefer more privacy, airport hotels and rest facilities within or near the terminals offer spaces to shower and rest. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Hanoi follows Indochina Time (ICT), which is UTC+7 and does not observe daylight saving time. Mumbai follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and also does not change throughout the year. This means Mumbai is 1 hour 30 minutes behind Hanoi at all times.
