For flights between Yangon and Guangzhou, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg for safety reasons. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Yangon–Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX and the Singapore–Guangzhou sector operated by the Boeing 787-10, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches, with up to 19 inches of seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with generous space and direct aisle access on these services.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Yangon but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy a range of airside attractions, including indoor gardens, themed rest areas, and dedicated quiet zones for relaxing between flights. Shorter layovers are well spent exploring these facilities, freshening up, or simply resting in comfortable seating areas.

For longer layovers, you may be able to join one of the airport’s official transit tours into the city, which typically require several hours of connection time and a qualifying itinerary.
