For flights between Surabaya and Manila, our baggage policy uses the weight concept. Checked baggage: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

Cabin baggage: Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Surabaya to Manila once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members, and the service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Surabaya but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join an official transit tour into the city, which generally requires a minimum of about 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. This guided experience lets you see key sights before returning to the airport in good time.

For shorter layovers, it is best to stay airside and enjoy Changi Airport’s amenities, which may include themed gardens, rest areas, children’s play zones, and quiet corners designed for relaxation. There are also transit hotels and snooze zones if you wish to rest between flights.
