On the Bengaluru to Ho Chi Minh City route, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg, and Business Class passengers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Bengaluru to Ho Chi Minh City once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bengaluru but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy a wide range of airside attractions, including themed gardens, rest areas, play zones, and quiet corners for work or relaxation. For longer transits, you may join an official free city tour, typically available for layovers of about 5.5 hours or more, subject to the programme’s conditions. Shorter connections can be comfortably spent exploring the terminals, where you will find walking trails, art installations, and shower or spa facilities. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Ho Chi Minh City follows Indochina Time (ICT), which is UTC+7:00 and also does not observe daylight saving time. Ho Chi Minh City is therefore 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of Bengaluru throughout the year.
