For Bengaluru to Jakarta flights, our baggage policy uses the weight concept. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class and First Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Bengaluru to Jakarta once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Bengaluru to Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, and Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On selected services, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20 inches of width. On the Singapore to Jakarta sector, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class offer the same seat dimensions, while Business Class and First Class feature fully flat beds for added comfort.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bengaluru but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may be invited to The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable and engaging layovers, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, snooze zones, and, in some terminals, attractions such as indoor slides and water features. For longer connections, you can join an official city tour if your layover meets the minimum time requirements, allowing you to see highlights of Singapore before returning airside.

Shorter layovers can be spent exploring the terminal, enjoying the many dining options, or freshening up at shower facilities and transit hotels located within the airport. Clear signage and efficient processes make it easy to move between gates and terminals during your connection.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Jakarta is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
