Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is served throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, alongside a curated list of other beverages.

For flights between Chengdu and Guangzhou, our weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may bring up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is stated on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on our Boeing 787-10 services between Chengdu, Singapore, and Guangzhou once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Chengdu–Singapore and Singapore–Guangzhou sectors operated by the Boeing 787-10, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with every seat having direct aisle access, giving you more space to rest and work across the journey.

Eligible customers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in Singapore Changi Airport, subject to operating hours and capacity.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chengdu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of amenities that make layovers comfortable and enjoyable. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you can consider joining the official free transit tour, which lets you see highlights of the city without managing your own logistics.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very convenient, with themed gardens, rest areas, children’s play zones, and quiet corners where you can relax. Selected terminals also feature attractions such as indoor waterfalls, walking trails, and art installations.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Guangzhou is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
