For flights between Chennai and Denpasar Bali, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class guests may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Business Class guests may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chennai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible travellers may be able to use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable transits, with themed gardens, play areas, rest zones, and a wide variety of dining and shopping. For longer layovers, you may be able to join an official free city tour if you meet the minimum connection time and entry requirements. Shorter layovers are well spent exploring the airport's attractions, such as indoor greenery, viewing decks, and quiet seating areas for rest or work. Chennai follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Denpasar Bali uses Central Indonesia Time (WITA), which is UTC+8 and also does not change throughout the year. Denpasar Bali is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Chennai at all times.
