Beverage Service
Throughout the flight, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, teas, and coffees. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, alongside a curated choice of wines and other beverages.

For flights between Shenzhen and Bengaluru, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class offers 35kg of checked baggage, and Business Class offers 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance shown on your e-ticket is binding, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Shenzhen–Singapore sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access on the Boeing 737-8 MAX. On the Singapore–Bengaluru Airbus A350-900 sector, Economy Class also features a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch width, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch and up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Shenzhen but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Shenzhen follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) and does not observe daylight saving time. Bengaluru follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) and also does not change with the seasons. Bengaluru is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes behind Shenzhen throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Shenzhen–Singapore and Singapore–Bengaluru) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Bengaluru is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
