For flights between Shenzhen and Kuala Lumpur, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Shenzhen to Kuala Lumpur once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Coverage and performance may vary depending on route and conditions.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Shenzhen but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of facilities for different layover lengths. With a longer connection of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider joining the official free transit tour programme, which takes you into the city to see key sights before returning to the airport.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is comfortable and convenient. You can enjoy indoor gardens, rest zones, play areas, and a variety of dining choices spread across the terminals, as well as quiet corners to sit and recharge between flights.

Shenzhen follows China Standard Time, which is UTC+8 all year and does not observe daylight saving time. Kuala Lumpur also operates on Malaysia Time, which is UTC+8 and does not change seasonally. This means there is no time difference between Shenzhen and Kuala Lumpur at any time of the year.
