For Taipei–Hyderabad flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class guests have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class guests have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Taipei to Hyderabad once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Taipei–Singapore sectors (operated by the Airbus A350-900 or Boeing 787-10) and the Singapore–Hyderabad sector (operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX), Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches, with up to 19 inches of seat width. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Taipei but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join a free official transit tour of the city if your connection is at least 5.5 hours and within the programme’s timing. This lets you see key sights briefly before returning for your onward flight. For shorter layovers, stay airside to enjoy themed gardens, quiet rest zones, art installations, and family-friendly play areas. You can also visit swimming pools or cinemas available in selected terminals, or relax in pay-per-use lounges and nap spaces. Taipei follows Taiwan Time (UTC+8) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. Hyderabad follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), also without daylight saving. Hyderabad is 2.5 hours behind Taipei throughout the year, so when it is 12.00pm in Taipei, it is 9.30am in Hyderabad.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Hyderabad is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
