For flights between Brisbane and San Francisco, our baggage is based on the piece concept. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (2 pieces, each up to 23kg), Premium Economy Class where available on the Singapore–San Francisco sector (2 pieces, each up to 23kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 32kg). Each individual checked piece must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines services between Brisbane and San Francisco once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Brisbane–Singapore and Singapore–San Francisco Airbus A350-900 sectors, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width. Where available on the Singapore–San Francisco sector, Premium Economy Class provides a pitch of about 38 inches and up to 20 inches of seat width.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible travellers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule
Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Brisbane but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be used to join an official transit tour into the city, which generally requires a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours to allow for tour timing and immigration formalities. These guided experiences give you a glimpse of Singapore’s skyline, neighbourhoods, and waterfront before you return to your gate.

If you prefer to stay airside, you will find themed gardens, rest areas, walking trails, and even entertainment zones that help the time pass comfortably. Many travellers enjoy exploring different terminals to discover art installations, viewing galleries, and quiet corners for reading or working.
