For flights between Busan and Surabaya, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is indicated on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Busan to Surabaya once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Busan to Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with generous space and direct aisle access for every seat.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy themed gardens, quiet rest zones, spa services, and a wide choice of dining and shopping. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may join an official airport transit tour into the city. Shorter layovers are best spent exploring the terminals, using relaxation areas, or enjoying a meal. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

In Busan, eligible customers may use the Air Busan Lounge before departure. During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be invited to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Busan follows Korea Standard Time (UTC+9) year-round, without daylight saving time. Surabaya follows Western Indonesian Time (UTC+7), also without daylight saving time. Surabaya is therefore 2 hours behind Busan throughout the year; when it is 12.00 in Busan, it is 10.00 in Surabaya.

On arrival at Surabaya Juanda International Airport, you will clear immigration and collect your checked baggage before passing through customs. Facilities include transport desks, information counters, and basic services such as food outlets and convenience shops. It is advisable to confirm ground transport arrangements in advance and follow airport signage to the correct pick-up area.

When connecting in Singapore, follow the transfer signs to your next departure terminal and check the flight information screens for your gate. You can use the Skytrain between terminals and enjoy amenities such as rest areas, showers, and dining options. Allow enough time to walk to your gate, as boarding can begin well before departure.
