Beverage Service
Throughout the journey, a selection of hot and cold drinks is served, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, offering a classic taste of our heritage.

For flights between Frankfurt and Phuket, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite/Value fares: 25kg; Standard/Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and Suites or First Class (50kg) on sectors where these cabins are available. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg), and Suites, First Class, and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Frankfurt–Singapore and Singapore–Phuket sectors, Economy Class offers a 32-inch seat pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Premium Economy Class on the Frankfurt–Singapore sector offers a 38-inch seat pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Business Class on both sectors provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. First Class on the Boeing 777-300ER and Suites on the Airbus A380-800 also offer fully flat beds with additional space and privacy on the Frankfurt–Singapore sector.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may be able to use lounges such as The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Frankfurt but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If your layover is long enough, you can consider joining an official transit tour that takes you into Singapore for a short city introduction, usually requiring at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. For shorter layovers, staying airside at Singapore Changi Airport gives you access to gardens, rest areas, and varied dining options. Depending on your terminal, you may find features such as themed gardens, play areas, and quiet zones for relaxing between flights. Frankfurt follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in winter and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from late March to late October. Phuket follows Indochina Time (UTC+7) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. This means Phuket is 6 hours ahead of Frankfurt in winter and 5 hours ahead in summer.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Frankfurt–Singapore and Singapore–Phuket) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Phuket is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
