For flights between Dhaka and Christchurch, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may check 35kg, and Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Dhaka to Christchurch once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Dhaka but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join an official transit tour into the city, which generally requires at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. This lets you see some of Singapore’s highlights before returning for your onward journey. For shorter layovers, staying airside gives you easy access to themed gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones where you can relax or stretch your legs between flights. You may also choose to book an airport hotel or use shower facilities to refresh before continuing to Christchurch. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Christchurch follows New Zealand Standard Time (UTC+12) from roughly April to September, making it 6 hours ahead of Dhaka.
