For flights between Shenzhen and Kochi, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi: 30kg) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg) and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members are entitled to additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Shenzhen to Kochi once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. With a longer connection of at least 5.5–6 hours, you can consider joining an official transit tour to see highlights of the city before returning airside. For shorter layovers, enjoy the airport's indoor gardens, open seating areas, and diverse dining options, or simply relax and freshen up before your next flight. Shenzhen follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) and does not observe daylight saving time. Kochi follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) and also does not observe daylight saving time. Kochi is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes behind Shenzhen throughout the year.
