You will be served meals on both sectors of your journey between Cairns and Phuket. On the longer Cairns to Singapore flight, full meals are provided, while the shorter Singapore to Phuket sector offers an appropriate in-flight service for the time of day.

Book the Cook

Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is served throughout your flights, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, so you can enjoy a classic drink as you travel.

For flights between Cairns and Phuket, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class customers have an allowance of 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class customers enjoy an allowance of 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on applicable services between Cairns and Phuket. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. Connectivity is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent on an official transit tour into the city, which typically requires a layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours. For shorter layovers, you can enjoy indoor gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones within the terminals.

If you have access, you can relax in one of the airport lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, which offer comfortable seating and refreshments. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

At Cairns Airport, eligible customers may be able to use the Escape Lounge before boarding the flight to Singapore. Lounge access depends on your cabin class, KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status, or whether you hold an eligible lounge membership or pass issued by the lounge operator.

We recommend arriving at Cairns Airport at least 2.5 to 3 hours before your scheduled departure to Singapore. This allows enough time for check-in, baggage drop, security checks, and reaching your boarding gate before the flight to begin your one-stop journey to Phuket.
