For flights between Dubai and Shenzhen, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may check 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.
For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Dubai to Shenzhen once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Dubai to Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 777-300ER, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, while Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch and up to 20-inch seat width. Business Class and First Class provide fully flat beds for maximum rest.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Eligible travellers may be able to access The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Dubai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join an official city tour if your connection is long enough, typically from around 5.5 to 6 hours or more. This allows you to experience key sights before returning comfortably for your onward flight.
For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, quiet rest zones, and, in some terminals, attractions such as indoor waterfalls and family-friendly play areas. There are also shower facilities and transit hotels if you wish to rest in privacy.

Dubai operates on Gulf Standard Time, which is UTC+4 and does not observe daylight saving time. Shenzhen follows China Standard Time, which is UTC+8 and also does not change throughout the year. Shenzhen is therefore 4 hours ahead of Dubai at all times.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport when flying from Dubai via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Dubai–Singapore and Singapore–Shenzhen) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Shenzhen is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
