For journeys between Guangzhou and Los Angeles, our baggage policy follows the piece concept. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Premium Economy Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Business Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual piece must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance applicable to your ticket is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines services between Guangzhou and Los Angeles once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

From Guangzhou to Singapore, you can choose between Business Class and Economy Class. On the Singapore to Los Angeles sector, Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class are available, allowing you to select a higher comfort level on the long-haul portion of your journey.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join a free transit tour into the city, which typically requires a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours. For shorter transits, stay airside to enjoy gardens, rest areas, play zones, and a wide selection of shops and dining.

You may also choose to relax in one of the airports lounges, such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, if you are eligible. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

At Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN), eligible Singapore Airlines passengers may be invited to use the Premium Lounge before departure. Lounge access depends on your cabin class or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and will be indicated on your boarding pass at check-in.

For flights from Guangzhou to Los Angeles via Singapore, we recommend arriving at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure. This allows enough time for check-in, security checks, and any exit formalities before you proceed to the boarding gate.
