For flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Medan, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. In checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg, and Business Class passengers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport.
