For flights between Istanbul and Jakarta, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg for Lite and Value fares, 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and Suites and First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Suites, First Class, and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Istanbul to Jakarta once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Istanbul operates on Turkey Time (TRT), which is UTC+3 year-round and does not observe daylight saving time. Jakarta uses Western Indonesian Time (WIB), which is UTC+7. Jakarta is therefore 4 hours ahead of Istanbul throughout the year.
