A selection of hot and cold drinks is served throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board.

For flights between Riyadh and Zurich, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite/Value fares: 25kg; Standard/Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Availability may vary slightly by aircraft and route segment.

On the Riyadh–Singapore Airbus A350-900 sector, Economy Class offers a 32-inch seat pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access.

On the Singapore–Zurich Boeing 777-300ER sector, Economy Class also provides a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch and up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class and First Class both feature fully flat beds, with Business Class including direct aisle access at every seat.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Riyadh but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers may be invited to relax in The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers an excellent environment for both short and longer layovers. For extended connections, you can join a free transit tour into the city, typically available for layovers of around 5.5 hours or more, allowing time for immigration and the tour schedule.

For shorter stays, you can enjoy themed gardens, quiet rest areas, entertainment zones, and, in some terminals, attractions such as indoor slides or play spaces. Transit hotels and pay-per-use lounges also offer showers and comfortable spaces to rest between flights.

Zurich follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in roughly November to March, making Zurich 2 hours behind Riyadh, and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) in roughly late March to October, when Zurich is 1 hour behind Riyadh.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Zurich Airport when flying from Riyadh via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Riyadh–Singapore and Singapore–Zurich) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Zurich is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
