For flights between Seattle and Jakarta, the piece concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Premium Economy Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg, and each individual piece must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Seattle to Jakarta once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Seattle but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may be invited to facilities such as The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join a free official transit tour into the city, available for passengers with a layover of at least around 5.5 to 6 hours. For shorter layovers, it is easy to stay airside and enjoy the airport’s attractions, including themed gardens, rest zones, and play areas. Selected terminals also feature swimming pools, cinemas, and shower facilities where you can refresh between flights.
