For flights between Bangkok and Milan, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class on the Singapore–Milan sector includes 35kg of checked baggage, and Business Class includes 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Bangkok to Milan once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Bangkok–Singapore and Singapore–Milan sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width. Premium Economy Class, available on the Singapore–Milan sector, offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bangkok but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore (SIN), depending on their class of travel and membership status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities, including themed gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones that make shorter layovers comfortable and engaging. For longer transits, you can join the airport's Free Singapore Tour, which typically requires a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours to join.

If you prefer to stay airside, you can enjoy quiet zones, shower facilities, and a wide choice of dining and shopping throughout the terminals. Airport hotels and nap options are also available within the transit area for additional rest between flights.

Milan follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in winter, typically from late October to late March, making Milan 6 hours behind Bangkok. In summer, Milan switches to Central European Summer Time (UTC+2), usually from late March to late October, making it 5 hours behind Bangkok.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Milan when flying from Bangkok via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Bangkok–Singapore and Singapore–Milan) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Milan is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
