For Osaka–Cairns flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Osaka and Cairns once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Osaka–Singapore Boeing 787-10 sector and the Singapore–Cairns Airbus A350-900 sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable space for the journey. At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Osaka but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover in Singapore, you can enjoy one of the world’s most comfortable airports. For longer connections, you may join Singapore Changi Airport’s free transit tour programme, which typically requires at least a 5.5-hour layover, allowing you to experience highlights of the city between flights.

If you prefer to stay airside, Changi Airport offers themed gardens, rest areas, snooze zones, and, in some terminals, attractions such as indoor waterfalls or entertainment zones. There are also showers and transit hotels if you wish to freshen up or sleep.

Dining, shopping, and quiet corners are available across the terminals, so you can tailor your layover to how you feel on the day. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Osaka follows Japan Standard Time (UTC+9) and does not observe daylight saving time. Cairns follows Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC+10) and also does not observe daylight saving time. Cairns is therefore 1 hour ahead of Osaka throughout the year.
