For flights between Phuket and Kathmandu, the weight concept applies for checked baggage. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. Business Class includes 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Phuket to Kathmandu once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Phuket but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be invited to use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities to make your layover comfortable and enjoyable. With a longer connection, you can consider joining one of the official transit tours into the city, which typically require several hours of layover time to join safely and return.

For shorter layovers, staying airside gives you access to themed gardens, rest areas, family zones, and a wide range of dining and shopping. Depending on your terminal, you may find indoor greenery, art installations, and relaxation corners ideal for a quick break.
