Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is available throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board for you to enjoy during your journey.

For flights between Male and Seoul, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Male to Seoul once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Male but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy themed gardens, art installations, rest areas, and a wide choice of dining and shopping within the terminal. For longer connections of around 5.5 hours or more, you can consider joining one of the airport's official transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility.

Shorter layovers are well spent exploring the terminals, where you will find quiet zones, family-friendly spaces, and shower facilities, as well as easy wayfinding between gates. Airport hotels and snooze facilities are also available within or close to the terminals for extra rest.

Male follows Maldives Time, which is UTC+5 and does not observe daylight saving time. Seoul uses Korea Standard Time, which is UTC+9 and also does not change throughout the year. This means Seoul is 4 hours ahead of Male at all times.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Male–Singapore and Singapore–Seoul) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Seoul is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
