For flights between Manchester and Riyadh, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Premium Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 35kg.

In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg for safety reasons, and you may divide your allowance across multiple bags, subject to airport and local regulations.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance shown on your e-ticket is the most accurate, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional baggage allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Manchester to Riyadh once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, with Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers asked to add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Manchester but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers may be invited to relax in the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and tier.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the official free transit tour if your connection time meets the minimum requirement of around 5.5 to 6 hours, allowing you to see highlights of the city before returning to the airport in time for your next flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside at Changi Airport is very comfortable, with themed gardens, quiet zones, rest areas, children’s play spaces, and, in some terminals, attractions such as indoor slides or immersive installations. You can also explore a wide range of dining and shopping options.

If you prefer to rest, consider booking an airport hotel or using nap zones and relaxation areas to recharge between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.
