A child will earn the same number of KrisFlyer miles as an adult travelling in the same booking class.
Parental consent required
When a child under the age of 16 signs up for KrisFlyer, we will automatically email their parent/guardian to request for permission.
You already share a bond. Now, you can share miles too.
Set up Parental Link
Log in to your child’s KrisFlyer account and turn on Parental Link via the personal details page.
If you are the listed parent or guardian, an invitation to link accounts will be emailed to you.
Transfer miles
Once you have accepted the invitation and successfully linked accounts, both accounts will be linked until your child turns 16. Once linked, you can transfer miles from your child’s KrisFlyer account to yours* via Miles → Transfer child’s miles.
Do note that you will not be able to transfer miles from your account to your child’s account. For security reasons, your child’s account must have at least one mileage accrual from a flight in the last 36 months and no miles accrued from credit card transfers or co-brand card spend in the last 36 months.
*You can transfer up to 50,000 KrisFlyer miles from your child’s account to yours every calendar year. For every 5,000 KrisFlyer miles (or part thereof) transferred from your child’s account, you will be charged a fee of USD 5 or 500 miles. View full terms and conditions.
