For flights between Kuala Lumpur and Phuket, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests have an allowance of 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class guests, available on selected Kuala Lumpur to Singapore flights operated by the Airbus A350-900, have an allowance of 35kg. Business Class guests enjoy a 40kg checked baggage allowance. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is confirmed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on selected aircraft once we are above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Kuala Lumpur to Singapore sector, operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX and the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to a 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class on selected Airbus A350-900 services offers a 38-inch pitch with up to a 20-inch seat width, and Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access on eligible aircraft.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

In Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), eligible customers may be invited to relax at the Global Lounge before departure. During your layover at Singapore, eligible passengers can access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status, subject to each lounge's access policy.

For a single itinerary ticketed with Singapore Airlines from Kuala Lumpur to Phuket via Singapore, we normally check your baggage through to your final destination. Your baggage tags and boarding passes will show this at check-in. If you hold separate tickets, please check with our ground staff, as through-check may not always be possible.
