For flights between Penang and Cairns, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class guests may bring up to 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members are entitled to additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on the Singapore Airlines sectors of your journey once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

In Penang International Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines passengers may be invited to use partner facilities such as the Plaza Premium Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status. Access is determined by your departing flight from Penang and your KrisFlyer or Star Alliance tier.
