For flights between Ahmedabad and Medan, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite/Value fares: 25kg; Standard/Flexi: 30kg) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg) and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). The final allowance shown on your e-ticket applies, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Ahmedabad but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers in Singapore can access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of facilities that make layovers comfortable and enjoyable, from themed gardens and art installations to rest areas and transit hotels. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you can consider joining an official transit tour into the city, subject to timing and availability.

For shorter layovers, staying airside lets you explore indoor gardens, curated shopping, dining outlets, and relaxation zones, with shower facilities and quiet corners for rest. Clear signposting and efficient security checks help you move smoothly between gates.
