For flights between Jakarta and Riyadh, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite and Value fares, 30kg on Standard and Flexi), Premium Economy Class where available (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class where offered on the Jakarta–Singapore sector (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class and First Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your exact allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Jakarta to Riyadh once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Jakarta to Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Premium Economy Class, where available, provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20 inches of width. Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and First Class on Boeing 777-300ER flights offers a spacious fully flat bed.

On the Singapore to Riyadh sector, Economy Class seats again provide about 32 inches of pitch and up to 19 inches of width, while Business Class offers a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, giving you ample room to rest on the longer overnight or daytime sector.

Across the full journey from Jakarta to Riyadh, Economy Class and Business Class are available on all sectors. On selected Jakarta to Singapore flights, you can also book Premium Economy Class and First Class, giving you the option to enjoy a higher level of space and personalised service on the regional segment before connecting to your onward flight.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can make the most of the terminals lush indoor gardens, curated art displays, and quiet seating areas. For longer connections, there are transit hotels and rest zones, while shorter stops are well spent exploring the dining outlets and shops near your gate. If your layover is at least 5.5 hours and your timing aligns, you may also be able to join one of the airports official city tours, which take you into Singapore for a glimpse of its landmarks before returning in time for your onward flight. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait - it is an integral part of your journey.

When departing from Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may be invited to relax in partner lounges such as the Plaza Premium Lounge or the Garuda Executive Lounge before their flight to Singapore. Lounge access depends on your cabin class and frequent flyer status.

During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be able to access lounges such as The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status. Jakarta operates on Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) all year, without daylight saving time. Riyadh follows Arabia Standard Time (UTC+3), also without daylight saving. This means Riyadh is 4 hours behind Jakarta throughout the year; when it is 12.00 in Jakarta, it is 08.00 in Riyadh.

We recommend arriving at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure to Singapore, so you have enough time for check-in, baggage drop, security checks, and to make your way to the gate before boarding starts.

If your Jakarta to Singapore and Singapore to Riyadh flights are on a single Singapore Airlines itinerary, we will usually check your baggage through to Riyadh. You should confirm this at check-in in Jakarta and keep your baggage tags until you collect your bags on arrival in Riyadh.

On arrival at Singapore Changi Airport, follow the transfer signs to your next departure terminal and check the flight information screens for your gate. If your bags are checked through, you will not need to clear arrival immigration. Our ground staff can assist you with directions and transit timings.
