Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, teas, and coffees, is available on board, along with alcoholic beverages for eligible customers. Our signature Singapore Sling is also served on board, adding a distinctive touch to your journey.

For flights between Los Angeles and Jakarta, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. For Economy Class, the allowance is 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. For Premium Economy Class, the allowance is 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. For Business Class, the allowance is 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. For First Class, the allowance is 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Los Angeles to Jakarta once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

From Los Angeles to Singapore on the Airbus A350-900, you can choose between Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class. From Singapore to Jakarta on the Boeing 777-300ER, you have the additional option of First Class, alongside Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can make the most of extensive amenities including themed gardens, rest areas, and a wide range of dining and shopping. For longer layovers, the official Free Singapore Tour is available for eligible passengers with at least around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, giving you a taste of the city without handling your checked baggage. Shorter connections are well spent exploring the terminals, enjoying quiet corners, or freshening up at transit hotels and shower facilities. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

For flights from Los Angeles to Jakarta via Singapore, we recommend arriving at Los Angeles International Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time. This allows sufficient time for check-in, security screening, and reaching the departure gate comfortably.
