For flights between Los Angeles and Kuala Lumpur, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. In Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Premium Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Business Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, including those travelling in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, provided your membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy extensive airside facilities, including themed gardens, quiet rest zones, play areas, and a wide range of dining and shopping. For longer layovers, the official free transit tour typically requires a minimum of around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, allowing you to discover a snapshot of the city. Shorter transits are well spent exploring the airport’s gardens, art displays, and relaxation spaces.
