Take the pilot’s seat in our Flight Simulator Experience.

Ever wondered what it feels like to fly a commercial aircraft? One hand on the yoke, the other on the throttle, in full control of the plane’s altitude, speed and flight path.

During this 3-hour session, a dedicated Singapore Airlines Instructor Pilot will guide you on how to pilot a Boeing 737-8 aircraft. Then, you will take to the virtual skies in a Boeing 737-8 flight simulator, with at least three take-offs and landings in airports of your choice.

Limited slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each session is available for 1 PPS Club member who may bring up to 2 guests to join the experience as co-pilots and passengers at no additional charge. Please ensure that your guest(s) is/are 12 years old and above with a minimum height of 135cm, as stipulated by Singapore CAE Flight Training.

  • The flight simulator replicates the flight deck of an aircraft and may require a degree of physical mobility. Please check with us prior to booking if you have any concerns around your experience.
  • The flight simulator experience is not intended to be a part of any flight training and cannot be counted towards any formal flight training certification.

Singapore Airlines (“SIA”) is pleased to offer eligible PPS Club members an opportunity to redeem 150,000 KrisFlyer miles to attend a Flight Simulator Experience (the “Event”). The Event must be redeemed in full using KrisFlyer miles. By registering for the Event, eligible PPS Club members agree to the terms and conditions herein.

  1. The details and specific terms and conditions of the Event are as follows:

Each Eligible Member (defined below) may register to participate in the Event, and may bring up to two additional guests. For the avoidance of doubt, the cost of 150,000 KrisFlyer miles covers attendance for a successfully registered PPS Club member and their guest(s), if any, at the Event.


Guests of an Eligible Member are not required to be Redemption Group Nominees (“RGNs”) of such Eligible Member.
 

The number of participants for the Event is subject to the maximum capacity of the venue, save that such number shall always be subject to any adjustments based on any safety and regulatory guidelines as communicated by the relevant authorities in Singapore.

Event Details:

The Event consists of an interactive flight simulator experience where the Participants (defined below) will pilot a Boeing 737-8 flight simulator under the guidance of a SIA instructor pilot.
  1. To be eligible to redeem the Event, a PPS Club member must fulfil the following criteria:
    1. be a direct recipient of the electronic direct mailer (“eDM”) sent by SIA titled “PPS Club Reserves presents A Singapore Airlines Flight Simulator Experience”; and
    2. have a balance of at least 150,000 KrisFlyer miles in his/her KrisFlyer membership account at the time of registration and redemption of the Event.

      (each such PPS Club member to be referred to as an “Eligible Member”).

      SIA reserves the right to reject any registration for the Event if the eligibility conditions set out in this clause are not met, or for any other reason.
  2. Each Eligible Member is allowed to redeem this Event only once, i.e. for one (1) participating member and up to 2 additional guests. 
  3. PPS Club members who wish to redeem the Event are invited to indicate their interest via the link provided in the eDM or email the required information to PPSClub_Reserves@singaporeair.com.sg. The required information is as follows: 

    a.              their PPS Club membership number;

    b.              the names and contact numbers of their proposed additional guest(s) (if any); and

    c.              their preferred session date and time for attendance of the Event.
  4. Redemptions for the Event shall be on a first-come, first-served basis and will be closed one week prior to each session or when it is fully subscribed, whichever is earlier. An acknowledgement email will be sent to the eligible PPS Club member upon an application for redemption.
  5. Confirmation of redemption of the Event shall be at SIA’s sole and absolute discretion and SIA may require the prospective Participants to provide such information or comply with such procedures as SIA may prescribe. As the Event will be held in a restricted area, access to the premises will be subject to security screening. For the purposes of the security screening, SIA will require the following information from prospective Participants: (a) the last 3 digits and alphabet of NRIC/FIN/Passport number; and (b) nationality. SIA retains the sole discretion to deny access to prospective Participants for any reason whatsoever, and SIA is not required to disclose the reason(s) for such denial of access.  
  6. Upon approval of security clearance for the Participant and successful deduction of applicable KrisFlyer miles, a confirmation email containing directions and instructions for the Event will be sent to the successfully registered PPS Club member. Successfully registered PPS Club members and their guest(s) (as applicable) shall be referred to as “Participants”, and may attend the Event. Successfully registered PPS Club members shall procure and ensure that their guest(s) (if any) agrees to and complies with these terms and conditions (as applicable).  
  7. All Participants must be at least 12 years of age, and at least 135cm in height, as of the date of the Event. There is no maximum age limit. Without prejudice to the foregoing, guests below the age of 21 (“Underage Guests”) may only attend the Event if they are supervised by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to ensure compliance of the Underage Guest with these terms and conditions. 
  8. After confirmation has been given by SIA of the redemption of the Event, no refund or recharge of redeemed KrisFlyer miles will be provided in the event of a cancellation or no show by the successfully registered PPS Club member(s) and/or any Participants, save as otherwise expressly set out in these terms and conditions..
  9. The Event is non-transferrable.
  10. Participants agree to comply and adhere to all relevant requirements pursuant to any prevailing and applicable safety and regulatory guidelines, including any safe management measures as may be communicated by the relevant authorities and/or SIA when attending the Event.
  11. In the event a Participant that has registered for the Event is unable to attend the Event due to testing positive for COVID-19 or any other reason, such Participant shall not attend the Event and SIA is not obliged to reschedule the Event or otherwise provide a replacement for the benefit of such Participant. If such Participant is a successfully registered PPS Club member, his/her guest(s) (if any) shall not be allowed to attend the Event.
  12. While SIA shall take the necessary steps and precautions in accordance with all prevailing safety and regulatory guidelines, Participants acknowledge that they are attending the Event at their own risk. SIA is not liable to any Participant in respect of any positive test result for COVID-19 following attendance at the Event.
  13. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIA is not liable to the Participants for any loss, damage, death, injury, disability and any loss or damage to property or person from any cause in connection with the Event and related activities.
  14. In the event that the Event cannot proceed on the specified date(s), time(s) or venue(s) due to unforeseen circumstances, including circumstances arising from or related to COVID-19, SIA reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or vary the Event at its sole discretion. If a Participant is unable to attend the Event on the rescheduled date, the corresponding KrisFlyer Miles will be credited back into the successfully registered PPS Club member’s KrisFlyer membership account.
  15. Unless otherwise specified, SIA will not be responsible for and will not bear any and all expenses and ancillary costs which may be incurred by PPS Club member(s) and/or Participants in connection with the Event.  
  16. Capturing of photographs, audio-video, and other recordings is not permitted in the flight simulator without the express permission of the SIA instructor pilot..
  17. By registering for and/or participating in the Event, Eligible Members and/or Participants agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, no claim relating to any losses or injuries (including but not limited to special, indirect and consequential losses) shall be asserted against SIA, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and all of its respective agents, servants, contractors, directors, employees, for any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from the Event, including without limitation, bodily injuries, death and property damage.
  18. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless SIA, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and all of its respective directors, employees, servants, agents and contractors (the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against all actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses of whatever nature arising out of, in connection with, or due to the Participants’ participation in the Event, the use of any information or material supplied by the Participants to the Indemnified Parties, the Participants’ withdrawal from the Event for any reasons, or any act or omission of the Participants.
  19. Eligible Members and/or Participants each agree to comply and be bound by the terms and conditions herein, the Conditions of use for the website, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and PPS Club/KrisFlyer, and by registering for and/or participating in the Event, each Eligible Member and/or Participant agrees to all of the foregoing terms.
  20. SIA may capture photographs, audio, video, and other recordings ("Recordings") of the Participants during the Event. By registering for redeeming and/or participating in the Event, each Eligible Member and/or Participant:

    a.     consents to the collection, use, disclosure, and other processing (collectively, “Process” or “Processing”) of such Recordings for commercial and/or publicity purposes across all media, including but not limited to, SIA's publications, and websites; and
    b.     agrees that the Recordings in their original or edited format may be Processed as described above without further notification, remuneration or compensation, and that copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Recordings shall vest solely and absolutely in SIA.
  21. Eligible Members and/or Participants may object to Processing of Recordings of them or their child by contacting PPS Club Reserves at PPSClub_Reserves@singaporeair.com.sg or informing a member of SIA’s staff at the Event.
  22. By registering for, redeeming, and/or participating in the Event, each Eligible Member and/or Participant consents that SIA may Process their personal data for the purposes of the Event as detailed in these terms and conditions and in accordance with the SIA Privacy Policy. If you provide us with any personal data relating to a third party (e.g., your guest), by submitting such information to us, you warrant and represent to us that you have obtained the consent of such third party to you providing us with their personal data for the relevant purposes set out herein, as well as all purposes set out in the SIA Privacy Policy and by or for the benefit of the persons referenced in the same. Where such third party is a child, Eligible Members and/or Participants also undertake that a parent or guardian of the child has been notified of and consents to such processing and provision of personal data on behalf of the child.
  23. Any decisions made by SIA in connection with any matter relating to the Event shall be final and binding as between SIA and the Eligible Member and/or Participants. SIA reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or vary, reschedule or terminate the Event without prior notice and without liability to any Eligible Members and/or Participants.
  24. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Event, these terms and conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
  25. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
  26. These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
