For flights between Manila and Chennai, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class customers enjoy 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class customers should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Manila but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities, including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and play zones, which make shorter layovers comfortable without leaving the terminal. For longer connections, you can explore additional attractions such as indoor waterfalls, walking trails, and relaxation spaces within the airport complex.

If your layover is at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may be able to join one of the official transit tours that take you into the city for a brief introduction to Singapore, subject to eligibility and schedule. Otherwise, you can enjoy shopping, dining, and spa services airside, or book a room at an airport hotel for rest.
