For flights between Mumbai and Jakarta, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and Suites or First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Suites, First Class, and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class travellers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Mumbai–Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, and Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access; on Airbus A380-800 services, Premium Economy Class is also available with extra space. On the Singapore–Jakarta Boeing 777-300ER sector, Economy Class maintains a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, Business Class features fully flat beds with direct aisle access, and First Class provides a spacious fully flat bed.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Mumbai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be able to use The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be used to join an official transit tour into the city, which typically requires several hours between flights; this is a convenient way to see highlights without handling your checked baggage. For shorter layovers, you can explore indoor gardens, themed zones, and quiet rest areas within the terminals.

You may also enjoy airport attractions such as viewing decks, children’s play areas, and relaxation corners that help you refresh between flights. Dining ranges from quick local bites to international restaurants, and there are plenty of shops for last-minute travel essentials or souvenirs.
