For Milan–Phuket flights, our weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Milan–Singapore sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access for every seat. On the Singapore–Phuket sector with the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class offers similar ergonomic seating and legroom to our long-haul aircraft, while Business Class provides a larger recliner-style seat designed for extra space and comfort on this shorter flight.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Milan but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers in Singapore may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

If you have several hours in Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the official free city transit tour, which typically requires a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours, subject to the programme’s current timings and conditions. This offers a relaxed way to see a snapshot of Singapore between flights.

For shorter layovers, it is best to stay airside and enjoy Changi Airport’s facilities, which may include themed gardens, rest areas, children’s play zones, and in-terminal attractions. Many travellers also take time for a shower, spa session, or a quiet meal before boarding the next flight.
