Beverage Service
A variety of hot and cold drinks is served throughout the journey, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, so you can enjoy a classic taste of Singapore during your flight.

For flights between Ahmedabad and Barcelona, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class on the Singapore–Barcelona sector includes 35kg of checked baggage, and Business Class includes 40kg.

Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Ahmedabad to Barcelona once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Ahmedabad–Singapore and Singapore–Barcelona Airbus A350-900 sectors, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width, providing good comfort for long journeys.

On the Singapore–Barcelona sector, Premium Economy Class provides a roomier experience with a 38-inch pitch and up to 20 inches of seat width, along with enhanced recline and leg support.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Ahmedabad but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is well known for its transit experience, with attractions like indoor gardens, art installations, and quiet rest areas spread across the terminals. For longer layovers, you can join an official free transit tour of Singapore if you meet the minimum connection time, generally around 5.5 to 6 hours.

For shorter connections, staying airside still offers plenty to do, from walking through themed gardens to enjoying relaxation zones, children play areas, and a wide range of dining options. Some terminals also feature entertainment zones and comfortable seating where you can recharge before your onward flight.

If you have a longer break between flights, transit hotels and pay-per-use lounges provide spaces to sleep, shower, or work in privacy. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Ahmedabad follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Barcelona follows Central European Time (CET, UTC+1) in winter and Central European Summer Time (CEST, UTC+2) from roughly late March to late October. This means Barcelona is 3.5 hours behind Ahmedabad in winter and 3.5 to 4.5 hours behind in summer, depending on the period.
