For flights between Bangkok and Kathmandu, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Bangkok to Singapore sector, Economy Class seats generally offer a 32-inch pitch with up to a 19-inch seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed or spacious recline with direct aisle access, depending on aircraft configuration. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bangkok but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on entitlement.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join a free city tour when available, typically requiring at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. These guided tours let you see key highlights of Singapore without managing your own transport.

For shorter layovers, it is best to stay airside and enjoy Changi Airport’s gardens, rest zones, and family-friendly play areas. You can also visit themed spaces, airport transit hotels, and shower facilities to refresh between flights.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Kathmandu is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
