For Kolkata to Yangon flights, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class guests enjoy a 40kg checked baggage allowance. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance shown on your e-ticket will always apply, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Kolkata to Singapore and onward to Yangon once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Eligible customers may be able to access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in Singapore, depending on their cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kolkata but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed to make layovers relaxing, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, free cinema screenings, and dedicated nap zones available airside. If your layover is at least 5.5 to 6 hours and your timings align, you may be able to join a free transit tour of the city.

Shorter connections are comfortable spent exploring the terminals, where you will find art installations, play areas, and a wide range of dining options. For a longer stay, you can consider a transit hotel or spa treatment to rest between flights.
