For flights between Milan and Christchurch, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class guests may check 35kg, and Business Class guests may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance shown on your e-ticket applies, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Milan to Christchurch once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Milan but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is well suited for both short and longer layovers, with gardens, relaxation areas, and a wide choice of dining. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may consider joining one of the official city transit tours, subject to eligibility and timing.

For shorter connections, you can explore themed gardens, quiet rest zones, and, in some terminals, attractions such as indoor slides or viewing galleries. Showers, transit hotels, and spa services are available if you prefer to freshen up between flights.

Christchurch follows New Zealand Standard Time (UTC+12) and New Zealand Daylight Time (UTC+13) from roughly late September to early April. This means Christchurch is usually 11 hours ahead of Milan in the northern winter and up to 11 or 12 hours ahead in the northern summer, depending on overlapping daylight saving periods.
