For flights between Munich and Bangkok, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Premium Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 35kg. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Munich to Bangkok once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Munich–Singapore Airbus A350-900 sector and the Singapore–Bangkok Boeing 787-10 sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width. This provides a comfortable amount of legroom and space for the journey.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Eligible customers may have access to facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Munich but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers plenty to do during your layover, from themed gardens and art installations to quiet rest areas and transit hotels. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you can consider joining an official free city tour, subject to availability and entry requirements.

For shorter layovers, you can explore the airport’s indoor gardens, viewing decks, and relaxation zones, or enjoy shopping and dining near your departure gate. Some terminals also feature attractions such as entertainment corners and play areas.
