For flights between New York and Seoul, our weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Premium Economy Class 35kg; Business Class 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class 1 piece up to 7kg; Business Class 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from New York to Seoul once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, with Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members required to add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from New York but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers in Singapore can relax in facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable and engaging layovers, with themed gardens, art installations, and quiet rest areas spread across its terminals. For shorter connections, you can enjoy indoor gardens, play areas, and a wide choice of dining and shopping, all within easy walking distance.

If your layover is longer, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, which typically requires at least around 5.5 to 6 hours of available time between flights. Alternatively, airport hotels and nap facilities offer spaces to rest and freshen up without leaving the terminal.
