For flights between Shenzhen and Seoul, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg of checked baggage, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Shenzhen to Seoul once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Shenzhen but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible passengers may be invited to relax in facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport offers indoor gardens, quiet rest areas, children’s play zones, and art installations, making shorter layovers comfortable and varied without leaving the terminal. With a longer connection, you can consider the airport’s official transit tour into the city, which typically requires several hours of available time between flights. There are also transit hotels and shower facilities if you prefer to rest between sectors. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Shenzhen follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) and does not observe daylight saving time. Seoul uses Korea Standard Time (UTC+9), also without daylight saving time. This means Seoul is 1 hour ahead of Shenzhen throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Shenzhen–Singapore and Singapore–Seoul) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Seoul is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
