For flights between Fukuoka and Ahmedabad, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The exact allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members receive additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Fukuoka to Ahmedabad once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Fukuoka but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may be invited to relax in facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can consider joining the official free transit tour, which usually requires at least a 5.5- to 6-hour connection including the time needed for registration and immigration checks. This allows you to see highlights of Singapore before returning in time for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable. Changi Airport offers themed gardens, quiet rest areas, children’s play zones, and, in some terminals, attractions such as indoor slides and art installations. You can also freshen up with showers or relax at transit hotels located within the terminal.

There are numerous dining and shopping options across the terminals, from quick snacks to full meals, along with pharmacies and travel essentials. Clear signage and the Skytrain or shuttle services help you move quickly between gates, so you can enjoy the amenities and still reach your boarding gate in good time. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Fukuoka follows Japan Standard Time (JST), which is UTC+9 and does not observe daylight saving time. Ahmedabad follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and also does not change throughout the year. Ahmedabad is therefore 3.5 hours behind Fukuoka at all times.
