For flights between Chengdu and Phnom Penh, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines services on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Chengdu–Singapore Boeing 787-10 sector and the Singapore–Phnom Penh Boeing 737-8 MAX sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width. Business Class features a fully flat bed on long-haul configured aircraft, with every seat providing direct aisle access where available.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chengdu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable layovers, with themed gardens, relaxation areas, and a variety of dining options within the terminals. If your connection is at least 5.5 hours, you may be able to join an official transit tour of Singapore, subject to the airport programme and your schedule.

For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and enjoy facilities such as quiet zones, rest areas, and curated shopping, or simply take time to freshen up between flights. Clear signage and efficient security and immigration processes help make transfers smooth.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Chengdu–Singapore and Singapore–Phnom Penh) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Phnom Penh is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
