Beverage Service
Throughout the flight, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board in all cabins.

For flights between Yangon and Jakarta, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Yangon to Jakarta once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers can access The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Yangon but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Yangon operates on Myanmar Time (MMT), which is UTC+6:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Jakarta uses Western Indonesia Time (WIB), which is UTC+7:00, also without daylight saving time. Jakarta is therefore 30 minutes ahead of Yangon throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Yangon–Singapore and Singapore–Jakarta) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Jakarta is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
