A selection of hot and cold drinks is available throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, and hot beverages. Our signature Singapore Sling is also served on board, allowing you to enjoy a classic taste of our heritage during your journey.

For flights between Kathmandu and Manila, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may bring up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

On this route, Wi-Fi is available once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic web browsing. It does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers, so we recommend saving any heavy use for when you are on the ground.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kathmandu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed to make layovers comfortable and engaging. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights and meet entry requirements, you may consider joining the official free transit tour, which gives you a short introduction to the city.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very relaxing, with attractions such as indoor gardens, art installations, quiet rest areas, and in-terminal facilities like spas and play zones. You can also enjoy a wide range of dining and shopping options across the terminals.

If you prefer to rest, airport hotels and nap facilities inside or connected to the terminals provide added comfort between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Manila is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
