Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold beverages is served on all Kathmandu–Singapore–Siem Reap services. Our signature Singapore Sling is available on board, alongside soft drinks, juices, and other refreshments.

For Kathmandu–Siem Reap journeys, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class travellers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Kathmandu–Singapore and Singapore–Siem Reap sectors, Economy Class seats typically offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable legroom for regional flights. Business Class features seats that convert into fully flat beds with direct aisle access, giving you ample space to work, dine, and rest.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kathmandu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable transits, with themed gardens, art installations, rest areas, and family-friendly facilities across its terminals. For shorter layovers, you can relax in quiet zones, freshen up, or explore indoor gardens and attractions close to your gate.

For longer layovers of around 5.5 hours or more, you can consider joining the airport's official transit tour programme, which offers a brief introduction to key sights in Singapore without the need to plan your own city trip. Alternatively, airport hotels and rest facilities provide a convenient place to sleep or shower between flights.

Kathmandu follows Nepal Time (UTC+5:45), while Siem Reap follows Indochina Time (UTC+7:00). Siem Reap is 1 hour 15 minutes ahead of Kathmandu. Neither destination observes daylight saving time, so this time difference remains the same throughout the year.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Siem Reap when flying from Kathmandu via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Kathmandu–Singapore and Singapore–Siem Reap) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Siem Reap is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
